Parish Pastoral Team: We had a very good and positive meeting last Wed. night. Among the topics discussed were:
1. Formation of a Welcoming Committee to help introduce new people to the parish;
2. Planning is ongoing for the introduction of John Paul 11 awards;
3. Some training to be provided for those involved in the different ministries in the Church;
4. Preparation Masses for First Holy Communion and Confirmation;
5. Annual Baptism Mass.
The work of those involved in the Outdoor Crib was lauded and they were thanked for their generous involvement. We hope to have Fr. Eamon Fitzgibbon, (MIC St. Patrick’s Campus, Thurles) to speak to us on the topic of “Parish Pastoral Teams“ at our next meeting on Tuesday, 21st February at 8pm.
