Céad Míle Fáilte: We welcome you back to Mass this weekend. We are so grateful for your loyalty, your generosity and your goodness. It will be a bit different from what we were used to. The following are some of the new arrangements that we are asked to respect:

(a) The total number allowed in each church is 50.

(b) We ask you to wear a face covering inside the church, and to respect physical distancing in the church and its environs.

(c) We ask you to sanitize your hands as you enter and leave the church.

(d) We again encourage you to follow the direction of the stewards/ushers at each Mass.

(e) At the end of each Mass, we are hoping for volunteers to help in sanitizing the pews and seats. Some cloths and sanitizing liquid are available in the church. If people brought a wipe and sanitizer with them and looked after the pew they are using this would be very helpful.

(f) We remind people of mature age of the option to drive their car into Bianconi Park in Boherlahan, or in front of the church in Dualla.

(g) We hope to have one Holy Communion Minister with the priest at each Mass.

(h) A collection box will be in the porch of the church for collections and contributions during each Mass.

(i) We will not be availing of altar servers until a later date.

(j) Missalettes cannot be used at present due to Government safety guidelines.

(k) We ask everybody to use common sense and please God everything will work out well. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Cemetery Masses: Due to the Covid pandemic all Cemetery Masses outdoors are prohibited at this time. Instead we have decided to name this weekend August 21/22 as Cemetery Weekend. The Masses in Immaculate Conception Church, Boherlahan, this weekend are offered for all our dead from the parish and for all who are interred in the parish.

Season of Creation: 2021 marks the 6th anniversary of Pope Francis` encyclical on the environment entitled Laudato Sì: On Care for our Common Home. To help us reflect on some of the themes of the encyclical a ‘Season of Creation’ has been designated from 1 September to 4 October. It is an opportunity to give thanks to God for the gift of creation, to explore and study the rich content of Laudato Sì and look at how we can help in caring for our common home. The Archbishop is planning to set up a Resource Group in the Diocese to help in guiding and implementing this work. If anyone is interested in being part of this group please let either of the priests know.

Pastoral Plan for the Archdiocese of Cashel and Emly: in the course of the last few years we had a Listening Process in each parish in the diocese. All of that material has been collated into a diocesan pastoral plan, with the title Seeds of Hope. It will be launched on 12 September, feast of St Ailbe, at Holycross Abbey. We will keep you posted on any further developments.

The Youth 2000 Summer Festival this year will take place both ONLINE and IN PERSON! For all information and to register please visit www.youth2000.ie

Dualla Ploughing Association: a threshing and auction will take place in Dualla on Sunday 29 August commencing at 2.00pm. Donations of items for auction or monetary offerings will be gratefully received. All proceeds will be donated to South Tipperary Hospice.

Act of Spiritual Communion

My Jesus, I believe that you are present in the Most Holy Sacrament. I love you above all things, and I desire to receive you into my soul. Since I cannot at this moment receive you sacramentally, come at least spiritually into my heart. I embrace you as if you were already there and unite myself wholly to you. Never permit me to be separated from you. (St Alphonsus de Liguori)
