€4.5 million to support Local Groups

Community Enhancement Funding 2021

Ministers Humphreys and O’Brien launched a €4.5 million fund on 10th of May 2021 under the CEP, to provide

•             Funding to support local groups to re-open their facilities post Covid-19

•             Small grants for repairs and renovations, new equipment and safety upgrades

•             Community Enhancement Programme to focus on disadvantaged areas

The Community Enhancement Programme (CEP) provides funding to community groups across Ireland to enhance facilities in disadvantaged areas. The CEP is funded by the Department of Rural and Community Development and administered by the Local Community Development Committee (LCDC) locally.

Applications can be made to the Tipperary LCDC by post to;
