Scoil San Isadóir is at present engaged in gathering unused clothes and shoes with “Cash for Clobber”.  It is aimed at raising awareness of clothes reuse among children and adults. The scheme sends clothes to the “developing world” that can be re-worn – generating a cleaner, brighter future for everyone. Currently, 75% of the world’s population depend on second-hand clothing.
The school receives 40 cent per 1kg of weight, which is useful in a time when fundraising is curtailed due to covid restrictions.

People who want to leave bags into the school can drop bags over the low front wall during school hours and we will put them away securely afterwards. Clothes and shoes in reasonable condition need to be in separate bags.  Bags can be dropped up to Monday 17th May.
