BLESSED

How blessed we are to be alive.

How blessed to have the comradeship of real friends.

To sit with them and enjoy the talking and the listening.

To know that we are treasured and accepted.

How blessed to welcome the daffodil and spring life breaking forth,

To welcome the red sunsets decorating the hills.

To know that we are cherished and loved,

How blessed we are to be alive.

Lord may your mercy heal our broken world,

May there be peace and consolation in all our hearts.

Direct us in the ways of faith and hope.

May our deeds find their inspiration in You,

So that your love can reach out to touch the hearts of everyone.

Amen.
