A Prayer for Pentecost:

Creator God, fill us with your creative Spirit so that

we may learn to contemplate with wonder and gratitude

the world in which we live and on which we depend.

Let it speak to us of you and the movement of your Spirit

through which you renew the face of the earth every day. Amen.

Called to Faith:

O Lord, call us by name and help us to see our need for a true and lasting faith.

May belief in your name spread from our homes and our schools that all may come to

believe. May our trust in you and in your promises lead others to you.  May our deeds

find their inspiration in you so that your love may reach out and touch the hearts of

everyone we encounter. Let your mercy heal our broken world and may there be peace

and consolation in all our hearts. Direct us in the ways of faith. Amen.
