              God’s ongoing call.

God is not afraid of new things.

That is why he is continually surprising us,

opening our hearts, minds and souls,

guiding us in unexpected ways. (Pope Francis)

So let us enter the New Year with an abundance of hope because he will walk every step of the journey with us.

              Motorist’s Prayer.

Holy Mother Mary, hear our prayer.

Keep us in your loving care.

Whatever the perils of the way,

let us not add to them this day.

To our caution and attention,

we add a prayer for your protection.

We ask God’s blessing on all of us this day,

to travel safely near and far. Amen.

              Spring Welcome.

God of Creation, the coming of Spring awakens new hope in all of us.

As we observe new life stirring in the wintered clay of recent times, it reminds us of your fresh call to all of us to care, to share and to bear.

Let us hear your reassuring voice reminding us of your goodness and love at work in our lives.

Give us the energy of Spring to welcome new growth, new challenges and new love into our lives.

Walk with us and may your Spirit renew the face of the earth. Amen.

ALL THE FLOWERS OF ALL THE TOMORROWS
