The Film “The Letter – A Message for our Earth” was launched by the Vatican in 2022.  “The Letter” is a powerful movie which tells the story of four people from different backgrounds and the roles they are playing to care more deeply for our common home. Their voices represent the communities of the indigenous, science, youth and the poor. The real story is about the movement of hearts that is needed to address the damage caused by the abuse of creation. Dr. Asner (representing the voice of science) said…”The climate crisis cannot be solved by technology… it`s all of you…we need you”.

“The Letter” film will be shown in the Excel Cinema, Tipperary on Thursday 28th September at 7.30pm. All are welcome. Admission is free. Jane Mellet (Trócaire) will be present and will respond to any questions after the showing.

Ministers of the Word: The Archdiocesan Pastoral Council are organising training nights for current and future Readers in the coming months. The nearest to us will be in Cashel on 22nd November 7.30-9.30pm.

They are also organising a course for Ministers of the Eucharist on 28th November  7.30-9.30pm. More details in the coming weeks.
