October: Month of the Missions: Mission Sunday this year will be celebrated on Sunday 22nd October. We are invited to remember in our prayers the work of priests, religious and lay volunteers working in Missionary countries. Our collection for the Missions will be taken up this weekend, (Seventh Collection in your bundle).
October: Safeguarding Month for the Archdiocese: Safeguarding is everybody’s responsibility. We all have a part to play. If you have a concern for the safety/wellbeing of anybody, please report it to the appropriate authority, whether that be Gardaí, Tusla, HSE, GP or Parish Reps. Ardmayle Heritage Society: Ardmayle Heritage Society wish to thank all those, who attended, who took part in or contributed in any way to a very successful and enjoyable evening in the Church of St. John the Baptist, Ardmayle. The occasion was the 40th anniversary of the founding of Ardmayle Heritage Society.
