EASTER TRUST and HOPE.

Risen Lord, help us to remember that you are with us in every time of perplexity to guide and to direct us: that you are with us in every time of sorrow to comfort and console: that you are with us in every time of temptation to strengthen and inspire: that you are with us in every time of loneliness to cheer and befriend: that you are with us even in death to bring us to the glory of life with you. Make us certain that there is nothing in time or in eternity that can separate us from you, so that in your presence we may meet life with an abundance of faith, hope and love, and death without fear. You turn our darkness into light, in your light we see light. Lord in your mercy hear our prayer. Christ Our Lord is risen today! Alleluia, Alleluia, Alleluia.

Vocation Prayer.

Holy Spirit of God, impart your knowledge, understanding and counsel to all of us so that we may know the vocation in which we can best serve you. Give us courage and strength to follow your holy will. Guide our uncertain steps, strengthen our resolutions, fashion our minds, conquer our hearts and lead us in the ways of justice, hope and peace. Give us a deep awareness of your presence with us and help us to witness to your love and care in our world. Amen.
