Tax Relief Donations: I want to express my very sincere thanks to all who participated in this scheme. It has been a very good help in supporting the finances of the parish. You will have received a letter last week inviting you to continue in the scheme for the next five years. You may hand in your response at the office in Holycross or at Parochial House, Boherlahan. If you have not been part of the scheme and would like to be, please let me know. May God reward you all for your generosity and kindness.

Parish Pastoral Team: Next Tuesday night we host a meeting of representatives of the three other parishes in our Combination. They are Clonoulty-Rossmore, Holycross-Ballycahill and Upperchurch-Drombane. We hope to discuss plans for 2024. One proposal is a joint event that will be undertaken by all four parishes in the grouping. The meeting is at 8pm. in Boherlahan Community Hall. The Parish Pastoral Team is open to all. We welcome new members and would be delighted if you would like to get involved with the Team in any way big or small.

First Collection: Our First Collection for 2024 will be taken up next weekend. This collection would traditionally be for Peter’s Pence (Green Envelope). This Collection enables Pope Francis to help the poorer and most vulnerable people in our world. My sincere thanks to you all for your goodness and loyalty.

Spring Welcome.

God of Creation, the coming of Spring awakens new hope in all of us.

As we observe new life stirring in the wintered clay of recent times, it reminds us of your fresh call to all of us to care, to share and to bear.

Let us hear your reassuring voice reminding us of your goodness and love at work in our lives.

Give us the energy of Spring to welcome new growth, new challenges and new love into our lives.

Walk with us and may your Spirit renew the face of the earth. Amen.
