County Juvenile Cross Country Relay 17th October 2021
The county Juvenile cross country relay, hosted by Moycarkey Coolcroo AC, took place in the Turnpike, Two Mile Borris on Sunday 17th October 2021. Dualla Ballytarsna Boherlahan AC had 44 athletes compete in glorious sunshine for mid October.
We had 2 teams in the girls U10 age group. In 5th place were Aoife Mc Loughlin, Rebecca Mc Loughlin, Pippa Graham and Abbie Kennedy. They were followed in 13th place by Ora Krasniqi, Amelia Gleeson, Lily Ryder and Robin Ryan.
Boys U10 were up next and finishing in 9th place were Cian O’ Donnell, Eanna Moynihan, Paddy O’ Dwyer and James Ryan.
We had 3 teams in the girls U12 category and the first home for the club winning the gold medal in 1st place were Aoife O’ Donnell, Leah O’ Connell, Faye Burke and Suin Coleman. Super running girls!! Next we had in 14th Mae Kennedy, Clodagh Fitzgerald, Cliona Moynihan and Megan Tarrant. They were followed by Emma Flynn, Isabelle Ryan, Grace O’ Connor and Dearbhla Hickey in 15th.
There were 2 teams in the boys U12 and finishing in 6th place were Bobby McLoughlin, Harry Ryan, Daniel Burke and Odhran Colville. They were followed by Michael Mc Carthy, Cian Fogarty, Tom Purcell and Dara Crosse in 13th place.
Ruth O’ Connell, Sophie Moynihan, Grace Power and Nicole Tarrant combined well in the girls U14 race and finished in 4th place.
In the boys U14 race we had 2 teams competing. Home in 5th place were Rory Crosse, Eoin Kennedy, Conor Kennedy and Aaron Twomey and were followed in 6th place by Aaron Fitzgerald, Conor Gleeson, Billy Norris and Eoin Shevlin.
