This workshop is an opportunity for participants to learn about the purpose and use of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Explore how to use the SDGs to promote sustainable development in your community groups.
Having an awareness of the SDGs in committees, for funding applications, and for local interests such as local development plans is important for joined up thinking that supports communities where no one gets left behind. The workshop will have space for disucssion, learning and collaboration on ways to support resilient communities, to the benefit of people and the different environments they live in.
What is the current progress towards the Sustainable Development Goals in Ireland? What are the challenges? How can we organise to meet these challenges?
Come and find out the answer to these and many more questions on Wednesday 15th May from 5:30pm – 8pm in Thurles Chamber Enterprise Centre, Thurles, Co. Tipperary E41 T6K5
