At our second meeting last Wednesday, we discussed the present condition of Bianconi Mortuary Chapel, the immediate repairs which are necessary, and the commissioning of a professional Heritage Consultant’s Report to identify other long-term works needed.

The application to the “Community Heritage Grant Scheme 2024” for the required funds is being prepared.

2025 will be the 150th anniversary of the death of Charles Bianconi.

The next meeting to advance this project will be in the Hall on Wednesday 20 March at 7.30pm.
