Storytelling – Learn how to use video and audio to tell your group’s story

Participants will learn how to develop, film and edit eye catching video and graphics content, and develop, record and publish audio stories and podcasts, using a modern smartphone, with some optional simple cost effective technology, apps and software.

Sona  –  Strengths Course

The science of positive psychology has much evidence-based tools and strategies to help you to thrive. Focusing on your strengths, not your weaknesses has been linked with many positive results such as increased life satisfaction and wellbeing. In this course you will learn more about strength spotting and strength development. 

You will discover practical ways to use your strengths to enhance all the various areas of your life, including becoming your best self for your community group. This course is ideal for self development and for you to look at the development of your group. 

Research has indicates that strength based language improves productivity, cooperation and satisfaction.

What is a sustainable community?  What practices are we aware of in our community to make it more sustainable?  

In this short course you will learn:

Comparison between recycling processes from previous generations with today’s consumer based culture
Becoming a more sustainable citizen
Assessment of our waste
Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
Community supports: unique points of our community, review of community supports available
Exploration of local initiatives and in other towns
Supports to encourage more connection to ourselves, the community and each other
