Céad Míle Fáilte: We welcome you back to Mass this weekend. We are so grateful for your loyalty, your generosity and your goodness. It will be a bit different from what we were used to. The following are some of the new arrangements that we are asked to respect:

(a) The total number allowed in each church is 50.

(b) We ask you to respect physical distancing in the church.

(c) We ask you to sanitize your hands as you enter and leave the church.

(d) We suggest people of mature age to consider driving their car into Bianconi Park in Boherlahan, or to either side of the church in Dualla. You will be able to hear the Mass without leaving your car. We can arrange Holy Communion for you after Mass.

(e) The Reader at the Mass may come up from the body of the church as heretofore.

(f) We hope to have one Eucharistic Minister with the priest at each Mass.

(g) A collection box will be in the porch of the church for collections and contributions during each Mass.

(h) Mass bookings: please contact the sacristan or either of the priests by phone or email to book Masses, rather than entering the sacristy.

(i) The Irish Catholic and Sacred Heart Messenger: these may be collected by subscribers in the church porch in Boherlahan and at the top of the church in Dualla. Please make the offerings in the box provided or in the shrine box.

(j) We will not be availing of altar servers until a later date.

(k) Missalettes cannot be used at present due to Government safety guidelines.

(l) We ask everybody to use common sense and please God everything will work out well. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Parish Preparation for the Celebration of Mass and Other Church Services:

As we mentioned last week we need help in organising the resumption of Mass in the churches. We had a meeting last week in each of the churches and we are very grateful to all those who attended. Let us work together as a team to keep everyone safe.

Receiving Holy Communion: We will distribute Holy Communion after each Mass. We will conclude Mass, give the final blessing and those not receiving Communion may leave starting from the back of the church. Then those who are receiving may come forward in single file and keeping physical distance. Communion will be received in the hand. The celebrant and minister of the Eucharist will wear a face shield. They will then go out to those in the car parks. Please make yourself known to the approaching minister if you intend to receive at your car.
