As you may have seen on social media, we will hold our Annual Table Quiz on Good Friday, virtually again this year, at 8:30 pm.

Just as many of our own lives have been affected, so too has the ability to fundraise for so many groups and charities. Last year, your support made such a difference to the Cashel Unit of Order of Malta, raising approx. €1,400.

In particular, for one of the charities, Cuan Saor, sadly, for many, the need for their services offering support due to domestic violence has risen exponentially.

Irish Motor Neurone Disease Association is a cause close to many people’s hearts. IMNDA offers many free supports to people living with MND and never is support more needed than during COVID.

Aside from the fundraising, we hope you enjoyed the night last year too. This year we are making some tweaks to how it will run.

We are operating with trust in participants’ honesty with self-correcting!

Here is how it will work:

(Each team will be assigned a team number)

1. Questions for Round one will be called out.

2. Each team will send an image of their answer sheet to a dedicated mobile number immediately after the round (or text in the answers in text form)Please make sure to label your answers with your team number.

3. The quiz master Liam will move on to Round Two and at the end of round two, he will call out the answers of the first round.

Each team is then asked to tally up their score and send back in to the same mobile number so we can add it to the score-sheet.

This is how we will work through each round.

Remember, you do not need to be in the same physical place to join another team! Your team of four can be connected but only one person from the team reports in the answers.

We hope that families can make an occasion of it at home in a time when entertainment is sparse.

We hope that you are with us on the night and your support would really be appreciated if possible at all.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to get in touch.

Le gach dea-ghuí,

Nóirín
