Tipperary County Council is considering whether to install concrete islands in Boherlahan village as a road safety measure.

Council engineers would like to hear the community’s views on this.

The proposal is for one to be located on the Cashel side of ‘The Crescent’ and the other is near the 45m line of the GAA field on the Holycross side of the pitch.

Boherlahan Community Association has been asked to gather the community’s views on this which will be reported to the council engineers by Cllr. Roger Kennedy.

There will be a meeting in the Parish Hall on Thursday 14 September @ 8.30pm to discuss this issue.

Views can be expressed via email to boherlahancommunityassociation@gmail.com, to Cllr. Kennedy or any member of the Community Association Committee.

Alternatively submissions can be directly emailed to customerservice@tipperarycoco.ie

Subject: “Boherlahan village traffic calming”.
