Christmas is for most people a joyful family time.  Despite the huge commercial aspect, many like to have a nice balance between both the spiritual and commercial.   A number of Parish Events are planned in the lead up to Christmas that parishioners may like to become involved in/attend.

The Archdiocese has launched a programme to help us in our spiritual preparation for Christmas called “Listening to God’s Word in Isaiah during Advent”. In order to help us have a better understanding of our faith journey, two meetings (discussion format) on the Old Testament readings for Advent will take place.  These will help our understanding of the readings and allow us reflect on the true meaning and joy of Christmas.

Tuesday 26th November and Tuesday 10th December: 8.00 to 9.30 pm in the Supper Room of the Parish Hall.

We had our first gathering on last Tuesday evening. We thank those who came along.

Our second gathering takes place next Tuesday night in Boherlahan Parish Hall at 8pm. We will reflect on the Readings for the 3rd & 4th Sundays of Advent. We invite you to come along and share faith with us. Everyone is welcome.
