Next August 2018 Ireland will host the World Meeting of Families (WMOF) in Dublin and it is hoped that Pope Francis will attend.
The WMOF banner can be seen in the porch of the church.
A meeting will be held in the Parochial House on Monday 4 September at 8:15pm to plan on how we as a parish might prepare in the coming year for this event.
Keep in mind that the WMOF icon will be displayed at Holycross Abbey from 8–11 September.
