Boherlahan Dualla Community Games has won the Tipperary Large Area Award for 2019 and will represent Tipperary at the National Awards on 7th December.

The award is based on a number of criteria including number of children participating, variety of events entered, media engagement, youth involvement, members volunteering at county level etc.

Congratulations to the children, their parents and guardians, the coaches and mentors, the Principals and staff of the three parish schools, Boherlahan Dualla GAA, Camogie and Ladies Football Club and the Community Games committee for this great achievement.

Special mention is due for the Boherlahan Dualla Community Games secretary Annette O’Donnell, for the huge amount of work and time she has committed to re-establishing the club in the parish. Annette was appointed as county vice chairperson at the recent Tipperary Community Games AGM.
