Harvest Thanksgiving Service

Parish Pastoral Team: We had a very uplifting and thoughtful Harvest Thanksgiving Service on last Thursday evening. Thanks to all involved and a special thanks to Liam and Teresa O’Dwyer for hosting it.

Mission Sunday

This weekend we celebrate Mission Sunday. The theme this year is: “You will be my Witnesses”. The collection was taken up last weekend. The envelope to use is the Seventh Collection in your bundle. There are spare envelopes in the porch of the church. We sincerely thank all who contributed to a very worthy cause.

Baptism Masses

We had our second Baptism Mass last Sunday. Both Masses were really enjoyed by all who attended. Each Mass was a wonderful celebration of community. We thank the Parish Pastoral Team, the choir and all who helped in the organisation of these celebrations.

Sixth Collection

Sixth Collection: This Collection was taken up at the Masses last weekend. This collection would traditionally be the Priests Autumn (October) Collection. If you missed out, you may drop in your envelope at any time. I am very grateful to so many of you who are so loyal and generous in supporting the different collections.

Cashel Arts Festival: Schools and Community Involvement

Our primary schools and community groups, such as the Day Care Centre, have been involved with a programme linking the religious who were associated with the various abbeys in Cashel. Their work can be seen around the town and in shop windows. A slide show in the Library explores this fascinating period of our past.
